With great feedback from our previous Hurricane Relief tournament, we decided to officially birth ‘Ball for a Cause’ – an annual basketball tournament that helps give back to the underserved. This year we partnered with H.E.R. Shelter. H.E.R. Shelter assist women and children with emergency shelter, locating housing in the community, employment readiness, and counseling and legal advocacy.
With Christmas coming up, we wanted the kids who are house by H.E.R. to be able enjoy the holidays so we asked all participates and spectators to donate toys which all was donated to the H.E.R Shelter.
The Blue team won the championship and Byron earned MVP trophy.
