ABOUT US

Long Story Short . . .

Darius and DaSean started the nonprofit in 2017 after Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico. They wanted to find a real way to help families on the island, and that’s when the idea came to use basketball as the bridge.

What started as a plan to send goods turned into something bigger, using the game they love to bring people together and make an impact where it was needed most.

From there, it became more than just helping in one moment — it became a mission. Hosting basketball tournaments, giving back to kids in their community, and creating opportunities for underserved youth, they’ve been finding creative ways to use the game for something bigger than wins and losses. For Darius and DaSean, it’s always been about turning basketball into a tool to inspire, support, and give back.
