What started as a simple stop at the Alex Askew 4th Annual Fish Fry turned into something much bigger. I really just planned on pulling up and showing love to my College Park community. Next thing I know, Alex Askew called me up and presented House Resolution 316; officially commending the Greenbox Foundation for the work we’ve been putting into the community, highlighting our ‘Ball for a Cause’ and ‘College Park Day’ initiatives.
We don’t do this for recognition, but I can’t lie – it felt good! Moments like this remind us that the work we do matters and has real purpose behind it. To be recognized at Level Green Park, the same park we grew up playing ball in, in the same community we call home – made it even sweeter.

This honor isn’t just for us, it’s for every kid we’ve reached, every volunteer who’s shown up, and every supporter who believes in our mission. Recognized or not, we will continue to jump through hoops for ours.
