That’s a wrap!
Congratulations to the Norfolk Titans, our 2026 7Cities Spring League Champions!
This year, we were proud to host the league at Tallwood High School in Virginia Beach. A special thank you to Coach Diaz and the Student Athletic Coordinator for helping make this opportunity possible.
The Norfolk Titans finished the regular season 6-1, earning the #1 seed heading into the playoffs. Throughout the season, the Titans were led by standout performances from Marc Johnson, our league steals leader, and Shaquantay Evans, our assist leader, both of whom earned Player of the Week honors. Major contributions also came from Khary Parker, Todd Cook, Jakarr Edwards, and Jamari Harper.

This spring, we brought together six teams from three Hampton Roads cities: Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach, with approximately 70 student-athletes participating throughout the five-week season. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening, Tallwood High School became more than just a gym. It became a safe space where young athletes could develop their skills, build relationships, compete at a high level, and stay engaged in something positive.
Over five exciting weeks, we highlighted weekly stat leaders, top performances, and memorable moments across our social platforms, helping showcase the next generation of talent throughout the Hampton Roads basketball community.
We also made it a priority to recognize and celebrate the players who consistently stood out throughout the season. Special congratulations to our 2026 7Cities Spring League Stat Leaders:
Christian Lynch – Scoring Leader (114 points)
Shaquantay Evans – Assist Leader (24 assists)
Jacques Mitchell – 3-Point Leader (18 three-pointers made)
Zion Denson – Rebounding Leader (49 rebounds)
Carlton Gregory – Free Throw Leader (31 free throws made)
Marc Johnson – Steals Leader (14 steals)
Khary Parker – Blocks Leader (9 blocks)

A special thank you to #statsbyDALE for tracking statistics throughout the season and helping us recognize the hard work and accomplishments of these athletes.
The playoffs delivered intense competition, culminating in a championship showdown between the Norfolk Titans and the Tidewater Wildcats. After controlling much of the game, the Titans closed it out and captured the championship trophy.
More important than wins and losses, the 7Cities Spring League continues to create opportunities for young people to connect, grow, and be part of a positive basketball environment. The relationships built, lessons learned, and memories created will last far beyond the final buzzer.

Thank you to every school, player, coach, supporter, and fan who helped make this season special. A huge shoutout to our dedicated staff and Tallwood High School for providing a safe environment for youth sports and helping make the 7Cities Spring League possible.
We’ll see everyone back on the court next spring. 🟩🏀
