College Park Day is an annual community celebration that combines a Community Fun Day, Back-to-School Drive, and End-of-Summer celebration for families in the College Park neighborhood. The event brings past and present residents together in a positive environment while helping prepare the youth get ready for the upcoming school year.

College Park Day began in 2018 with a simple goal: give back to the neighborhood we call home. What started as a small community effort quickly grew into an annual tradition rooted in unity, pride, and service. Level Green Park has always been at the heart of that story. It was more than just a location, it was part of our upbringing, a space where many of us grew up playing, connecting, and building lifelong memories. Hosting College Park Day there meant everything, because it reflected the community pouring back into the very place that shaped us.
After years of growth and impact, the event has become something the entire community looks forward to. For the past two years, we had to pause CPDay due to the park’s renovation and makeover. While it was difficult to step away, the wait only strengthened the excitement for its return. Now that Level Green Park is complete, we are proud to bring this tradition back stronger than ever.
This year’s CPDay will feature a full day of basketball games from elementary youth to “old timers,” bringing generations together through the game we love. The park will be filled with music, energy, and a true community cookout atmosphere that celebrates togetherness. As the day comes to a close, we will continue our mission of giving back by distributing 300 backpacks filled with school supplies to help local students prepare for the upcoming school year.
College Park Day is more than an event, it is a reflection of community, resilience, and commitment. It represents where we started, what we’ve built together, and the future we continue to invest in for the next generation.
